About BIDA
The British International Doctors' Association
(BIDA) was established in the United Kingdom
with the sole objective of promoting the
medical, dental and allied sciences and to
promote and maintain the honour, interests and
well-being of the medical and dental profession
and to protect the interests of the members
outside the UK or those who came to the United
Kingdom to receive medical and dental training.
The BIDA takes into its fold those residents of
the European Union or of the United Kingdom,
whose parents and /or grandparents were residing
elsewhere and provides a comprehensive
counselling and career advice service along with
other members.
The Association holds or makes arrangements for
holding periodical meetings of/for its members
and provides/circulates such information as may
be thought desirable by means of periodical
journal or by any other form of publication, so
as to promote a better understanding between
members of the Association's various divisions
and local and Central Government institutions
and other bodies, whether professional or
otherwise and the general public.
Under its craft committee the BIDA has General
Practitioners' Forum, Hospital Doctors' Forum,
Public Health' Forum, Woman Doctors' Forum,
Junior Doctors' Forum and Dentists' Forum. |
