ELIGIBILITY FOR PARTICIPATION
1.
Fully paid members of BIDA from each division are
eligible to participate and in the case where a full
team (i.e. eleven players) cannot be thus completed, a
maximum of four non-BIDA members may be included
to make up a team strictly providing that they are
spouses (e.g. when a BIDA member is a female doctor and
her husband is not a doctor) or children of fully paid
members.
2.
Participating Divisions are expected to exchange details
of their teams prior to the start of a match. Captains
of each team should forward a list of their opposing
team, after the match, to the National Sports
Co-ordinator, for confirmation of BIDA membership.
3.
Any Division found to include non-BIDA members in their
team will be disqualified and the opposing team declared
the winner.
4. A
player will only qualify to play in a match if he or she
has been a fully paid member of BIDA by the last day
in May of that year irrespective of the date of the
first match.
5. A
team can only play their own Division’s fully paid
members and not members of neighbouring Divisions.
According to the National BIDA Constitution the member
should either be a resident in the Division or work in
the Division. It is expected that NO members
are enrolled from outside the area just for the purpose
of playing a match for the division.
